.45 S&W American, #1694, 8 inch barrel, blue finish, 2 piece walnut grips, 1 of 1000 Americans purchased by the U.S. military, correct U.S. stamp, "A" on frame, "P"s on frame, cylinder and barrel, number is listed in Charles Pate's "Smith & Wesson American Model"
Condition: excellent bore, 15% blue blended into silver gray overall, excellent grips, hammer does not stand without pressing trigger forward, excellent marks.
