Overall, this rifle is in good condition for it‚‚s age. I believe this firearm was manufactured in 1973. There are nicks and dings in the stock and one blemish on the barrel. Blue finish is in good condition light expected wear. Wood stock is in very good condition with light nicks and dings noted. Overall, good condition for a gun that‚‚s 50 years old.
SN: 11425. Made in 1973. 30-06 with a 20\" barrel. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Bolt action hunting rifle.
Sitting on this rifle is a Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 scope.
**This firearm does have a number engraved on the receiver - believed to be a Texas DL number from a previous owner.
***Barrel numbers are X J 7 serial # is 11425 (Using Remington‚‚s sight, I came up with 1962 as the year of manufacture. Do your research to confirm - J shows up three times, I could be incorrect)
