Product Description: These military issue units are marked M9, U.S., have M9 as issued serial numbers. These new configured FDE units match the SOCOM SCAR units and come with four of the new military \"sand\" magazines.. \"Sand-Resistant Magazine: Developed for the sandy environments of Iraq and Afghanistan the special PVD coating reduces friction while the magazine tube design reduces the possibility of sand accumulation within the round column greatly increasing the reliability and functioning of the Ranger M9 in desert or other extreme conditions\". These current Army issue models have sight and post sights(not three dot), are factory proofed and zeroed at 50‚‚, are stamped U.S. 9MM BERETTA U.S.A and have an M9 serial number designation. The M9 open slide allows malfunction clearing in a faster and more efficient manner.. allows for single shot use in the event of damaged mag or field emergency as the pistol WILL FIRE WITHOUT THE MAGAZINE AND A ROUND IN THE CHAMBER. This pistol also has an ambidextrous safety decocker which when in the down position will decock the pistol and render the trigger useless and is a double and single action pistol. MSR trigger units. These milspec units are currently the only known units manufactured to match the Ranger SCAR units with the sand magazines. Includes military issue Hardigg case holds pistol and one mag on top with a lower level for accessories. Also Gemtech military issue lanyard in matching tan with a 100 lb break/release point; operators have been severely injured when lanyards have become hung.. not an issue!
