Description:
1892 Winchester Rifle manufactured in 1921. 24" octagon barrel and full magazine tube retain 80 to 85% original blue. Great markings. I will rate the bore a 9 on a scale from 1 to 10. Original front and rear sights. All screws are in above average condition. Caliber is .32-20. Receiver 85 to 90% original blue, still has nice fire blue on loading gate. Action functions nicely. The only real loss of finish is where it looks like something got onto the barrel / magazine tube in a couple areas (maybe blood), see pictures? Small dent in the belly of magazine tube (see picture). Both forend and buttstock are in good condition showing normal handling marks that you would expect to see from a firearm of this vintage. Crescent style buttplate retains 70% of it's original blue. A nice 1892 Winchester rifle in well above average condition. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. This firearm as with any other should be checked first by a gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire / operate it. Please feel free to ask questions.
