NSN, circa 1839, .69 caliber, 42"" round smooth bore barrel. Barrel and other iron parts are a dark grey patina with surface oxidation visible. Lock plate is marked with ""EAGLE/US"", rear of lock is stamped "" HARPERS/FERRY/1839"". Action holds at half and full cock. Wood burnout is noted. Stock has nicks, dings and gouges from handling use. The initials ""J.K.B."" are carved into the comb right side. CONSIGNMENTÂ
