Synopsis: Remington Rand 1911A1 in .45 ACP, a classic WWII sidearm! Description: Standard configuration Remington Rand M1911A1 with ramp front sight and drift adjustable rear sight having square notch. Left side of frame with usual two line Remington Rand address; 'P' in front of rear sight. Left frame with 'FJA' inspector initials. Right side of frame marked 'UNITED STATES PROPERTY', 'M1911A1 U.S.ARMY', 'NO 2045806'. All components parkerized. Barrel lug marked âFâ on right side by Flannery Bolt Co. and 'P' on the left. Keyes Fibre grips with escutcheon rings around screws. Late seven round magazine with "R" on inner toe. Condition: Excellent condition with just the most minimal wear as one might expect from a minimally carried service pistol. Usual wear over barrel hood from cylcing. Comparable condition grips and near excellent magazine. Near mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
