REDUCED This is a comparatively scarce 1863 sporting rifle model, as more 1863 carbines were made. It was manufactured in 1990 when Wolfgang Droge still owned the Shiloh Sharps Rifle company. The rifle is in very good plus condition, with minimal handling marks and edge wear. Metal finish 95-98%. The stocks are not original from Shiloh according to a former employee. The shotgun butt has a cheekpiece and steel buttplate. Forestock has Schnabel tip. The .54 30" barrel has a mirror bright bore and chamber. It has the standard Shiloh sporting rear sight and silver blade front sight. Very clean mechanics. Eras Gone makes a great original style bullet mold for these rifles. Should be a comfortable and accurate rifle in this configuration. $1550 + Shipping to your door.
