This Savage Arms Model 1899 Takedown .25-3000 Savage is in very good condition for its age. Manufactured in 1915, the metal has some bluing loss in several spots and several small surface rust spots. Fore end and stock show normal wear for a gun of this age but no cracks are visible. Action works fine. Very nice gun at a good price. .250-3000 Savage
