Description:
This is a licensed copy of a Webley No. 2 in 44 Bull Dog caliber with nice old ivory grips with age cracks. It retains over 90% original nickel finish and has British Proof marks on the barrel, frame and cylinder. The bore and mechanical function are very good. The top strap is marked J.P. Clabrough & Bro’s and the barrel is marked British Bull Dog. J.P. Clabarough owned two factories’ in England and had depots in New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago and San Francisco. They were sending 10,000-12,000 guns a year to America.
