Description:
15 inch saddle ring carbine configuration in 30 WCF caliber with very good bore. Original pinned blade front and folding ladder carbine rear sights. Metal surfaces are mostly a brown/gray patina. Good markings on the barrel and upper tang. Hammer and lever are also a brown color. Forearm looks good with a couple of dings. Buttstock looks good with a few indentations on the right side and a very fine crack on the left side of the wrist next to the frame. Carbine style buttplate. Crisp action. Gun is cleared on the BATF list. It was also in the Lewis Yearout collection as well. Not a bad looking example of a hard to find collectable Winchester made in 1928. Sure to fill a hole in someones collection.
