Abbiatico & Salvinelli [FAMARS] model African Express .470 Nitro Express double rifle with 24" monobloc ejector barrels with quarter rib built in 2012. Bores remain as new. Standing 50 yard and folding 75 yard rear sight. Case hardened bolstered reciever with bushed strikers. Reciever features border engraving with a Bulino engraved tusker on the floorplate by A. Rinnissi and signed. Four locking screws on key screws. Stocked in an outstanding piece of Turkish Walnut with deeply contrasting marblecake lines. Bottom tang extended to a case hardened steel pistol grip cap. 32 LPI point pattern checkering with mullered border. Anson forend release. 14 7/8" LOP to a 1" Silvers type pad. 10lb 12 oz This piece remains as new with the very slightest of handling marks. It has been fired but never hunted. It is cased in its factory plastic hard case with a set of velour slip covers and an extra set of strikers and hammer springs. FAMARS was rescued out of bankruptcy in 2012 by FAMARS USA under American ownership and continues to produce approximately 10 bespoke guns yearly in Italy with a small group of the original master craftsmen.
