Description:
22 inch round barrel chambered in 30-03 caliber with a dark bore that has visible rifling but needs a thorough cleaning. Sights include a pinned blade front that has a replaced blade and a folding ladder carbine rear. Barrel retains about 70% dull fading blue showing thinning spots and muzzle wear. Receiver is a dull plum/ brown with a little more blue on the magazine. Saddle ring on the left side. Band fastened finger groove walnut forearm and hand guard. Straight grip walnut stock is in very good condition with a steel trapdoor carbine buttplate. Nice functioning action. A good example of an 1895 SRC made in 1912.
