Description:
The Marlin Model 39 was manufactured between 1922 and 1938 and this "takedown" remains in very good overall condition. Wood remains solid and shows traces of original finish with only a few scratches and dings. Marlin "Bullseye" remains in place. Original blue is very good on barrel but worn on forend cap. Some light oxidation and pitting on barrel and receiver. Case color shows faint traces of original color but has mostly worn off. Bore could use a good cleaning but remains shootable. Toe of buttplate is chipped. Magazine tube remains in place as are original iron sights. Function appears excellent. Very nice older Marlin! .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle
