We are offering for sale an antique Allen & Thurber BAR HAMMER Percussion Pistol chambered in 36 caliber. This is an early example with possible date of 1845.
2 3/4" barrel is good with scattered surface wear; Bore remains good with crisp rifling. Frame is good with scattered surface wear. "Allens Patent" on percussion bar. Gun functions as it should. Original wood grips are very good without damage.
