Here is a fantastic rendition of the legendary cousin of the M-14 the M1A Scout Squad, a mini me of the popular M1A by Springfield Armory developed to be a down sized shortened version of it's bigger brother. This rifle sports a 16.5 inch barrel topped with a muzzle break making it an overall length of 18", and features a Cerakoted camo finish that looks as good as the rifle feels when shouldering it. The Cerakote finish does its job at protecting the finish because the rifle could pass as a new one being in such immaculate condition, with the bore and the action in equally fantastic condition. The only flaw the rifle has is the butt plate trap door has a broken hinge plate, easily fixable, and still functional. The front sight appears to have been replaced with a Trijicon front sight blade, but it looks as though if there was Tritium there, it's not anymore, just having a white lower portion. Overall a great rifle, with an even better gently pre-owned price, and available here at Cabela's Columbus for a limited time. .308 Winchester
