Description: This is a full box, 20 original rounds, of early .30-06 ammunition that was identified as .30 Springfield Model 1906 manufactured by Remington UMC with 150 grain bronze pointed bullets. The one piece yellow, black and red box has call outs for Model 1903 and 1906 Springfield rifles as well as Winchester Model 1895 and Model 30 Remington. In fair condition the box has remarkably nice graphics with a great cartridge illustration but has repairs to one flap and has a separated end piece. The cartridges are all native to the box and bear the correct 1906 head stamp and have the bronze pointed bullets. A good box to display with your early rifle and an interesting historical box in the progression to standard ".30-06" nomenclature. SOLD |
