This is the Winchester Model 64 lever action rifle manufactured in 1937 featuring a pistol grip stock and 2/3 tube magazine. In excellent condition the metal surfaces retain about 85-90% of the original blue with some light use marks and small freckles on the barrel and thinning to gray on the carry areas of the receiver which also shows light scratches. The walnut stock and forearm rate about excellent with a very small, shallow crack running with the grain on the left side of the wrist and a very small repaired crack/chip on the right top side of the comb adjacent to the steel butt plate. Mechanically it functions properly. An excellent, early Model 64 in a rare caliber. FFL or C&R SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
