Really nice Pre 64 M70 in 300 H&H. Serial number indicates 1953 manufacture.
there was a G&H scope sidemount added at some point. Workmanship is impressive.
there is a custom reticle Kahles period scope with the rifle. Three dots descending in size. I was told the center dot was 100 yds, the next 200, the lowest dot 300. Ballistics 180 gr bullet at 2950 FPS.
There is a vertical adjustement dial on the scope, windage adjusted on the Griffin & Howe side mount.
Wood and blueing is very good. Bore vey good as well Doesn't appear it was in the field vey much

I bought from an estate years ago in the NY area. I never fired the rifle. It has been displayed in a wood/glass case in my collection since I've owned it.
