***SOLD*** Super Rare Winchester model 1892, made in 1903. Another one from my personal collection!
Sometime back in the day (50's... 60'... this rifle was converted to shoot 38 spl/357 mag (They would conver 44/40 & 38/40 to shoot 44 mag/special, and 32-20 & 25-20, to shoot 38 spl/357 mag). Undoubtedly , the job was done by a very competent gunsmith, based on barrel fitting, and the way the gun cycles both cartridges flawlessly! All original sights and wood stock!
I have personally shot this gun with 38 spl ammo, and it not only shoots nicely, but it is extremely accurate! A pleasure to shoot!
The action is super smooth, and it feeds and cycles flawlessly!
This is a true example of Gunsmithing craftsmanship and are getting extremely hard to find! Don't miss out on it!
