Description:
Manufactured in Scotland, this 1942-dated No. 2 Mk I* revolver is in very good condition. It is numbers matching and still has the original blue finish. The majority of markings are highly visible, including on the brass disk grip insert. The bore is shinney with strong rifling. The gun is fully functionable.
Albion began production in 1941 and by the time that the contract passed to Coventry Tool & Die company in early 1943 they manufactured 21,422 units. Another 21,094 would follow with the same Albion markings but assembled by Coventry. Albion guns account for roughly 20% of total No2 revolver production. This gun was an Albion produced model.
