This is an Early & Scarce Civil War era C&J.W. Hawksley, Sheffield Large Pistol or Revolver Large Bag Powder Flask in Fine Untouched Condition. The Flask is all original and complete and works fine. The body has nice tight seams and measures 8” long x 2” at the widest point and has an adjustable charger. It is clearly marked on the top, "C & J.W. HAWKSLEY / SHEFFIELD". The flask retains all of its original factory brown lacquer.
