Description:
Circa 1870's-1880's rig from Mewin & Bray of New York. More a marketer than a maker, they had a full line of leather goods for the cowboy which they contracted for manufacture. Both the holster and belt have the distinctive "H B Co" intertwined trade mark. Mark on Cartridge/money belt is very faint. 3 loop holster was repaired long ago with steel wire. Fits 7 1/2 inch Colt SAA or similar revolver.
