Description:
A factory letter accompanies this investment grade 1st Model K-22 Outdoorsman confirming the configuration and detailing its original shipment on March 8, 1937 to the Clapp & Treat Company in Hartford, Connecticut. The gun is equipped with a 6” barrel, call gold bead front sight, original blue finish and the matching number checkered Circassian walnut silver medallion service grips. Overall a high grade and un-touched example that retains about 99% of the original bright blue finish which shows only slight wear from laying in the gorgeous red picture box. The numbers matching original service grips have excellent checkering and grain pattern. A must own pre-war Smith & Wesson that will enhance any collection.
