Built in 1953 on the five screw N-frame this rare and desirable Pre Model 20 AKA .38/44 Heavy Duty is equipped with a 4” barrel, original nickel finish and checkered walnut diamond magna grips. Seldom seen with a short barrel and nickel finish this Heavy Duty remains in excellent overall condition retaining about 99% of the original nickel finish which is bright and clear showing only minor aging. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. Overall a rarely seen N-frame in the 38/44 series that will take years to upgrade!
