Winchester model 1894 takedown in 38-55 WCF. Built in 1900,this rifle has a 26" round barrel with an excellent bore. The rifle is in excellent all original condition retaining 70% of the original blue and 95% of the original wood finish. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage and shows outstanding figure.The blue loss is at the handling points and is a smooth gray patina with no rust or pitting. The action works smoothly with no play. The rifle retains the original sights and crescent buttplate. All screws are clean and unmarked. This is a fine early 1894 that would ,make a fine addition to any collection and would be a classic rifle to shoot and even hunt with. C&R eligible. Price includes shipping to your FFL.
