Description:
Marble Safety Axe Co Game Getter Model 1908A .22/.44 caliber 18" barrel combination rifle. This combination rifle was designed by Webster Marble with three things in mind he wanted, light weight, multiple caliber, and absolute reliability. It features a center hammer with 3 position stops, foldable metal stock, post front sight with brass bead, flip up leaf middle sight, rear tang sight, blued finish and checkered black hard rubber grips. The finish shows some signs of age related wear/loss as well as speckling. The action works as it should. Please note the stock has minor bends but folds and locks as it should. The rear sight has a shim underneath and rear blade is worn so the leaf does not stay up. The .44 smooth bore barrel is shiny but does has some rougher spots. The .22 bore has visible rifling with some darker spots. Also included is a copy of the original sales card from Marble's . Awesome for any collector!
