SOLD SOLD SOLD The Colt Sauer Rifle was made in Germany by J.P. Sauer & Sohn, total rifles produced: 27,189 - serial numbers from CR1000 - CR28189, from March 1973 - July 1984.. The rifles were fitted with a 24 inch barrel, 4-shot detachable magazine, checkered walnut stock with rosewood forend tip and pistol grip cap and Colt recoil pad, blue finished, and were chambered in .22-250 & .243 Win. (Short Action), .25-06 Rem., .270 Win. & .30-06 (Standard Action), 7mm Rem. Mag., .300 Win. Mag. & .300 Weatherby (Magnum), .375 H&H (Grand Alaskan), or .458 Win.Mag. (Grand African). This Colt Sauer Rifle is as described and is chambered in .243 Win. with the short action. This Colt Sauer is in excellent original condition, retaining 99% orignal blue. The beautiful figured stock is in excllent condition, retaining all of its orignal finish, with assorted minor handling marks, with most being on the right side of the stock near the recoil pad. The bore looks as new and the action functions the same. Comes with installed Colt/Redfield scope mounts, sorry, no box, paper-work, or scope rings
