Description:
Browning Superposed Trap from 1964, made in Belgium. Rarely do you see vintage trap shotguns survive the passage of time without all those ugly modifications. This one is all original in a desirable configuration. "Y" channel top tang / long trigger guard tang / beavertail forend (not the grotesque large ones that were common in later years). Barrels are 30" with 2 3/4" chambers. Bottom barrel measures .725 with 21/1000 choke (Imp Mod) while the top is .727 with 42/1000 choke (Full). Mirror perfect bores. Single selective trigger. Original Browning trap pad. Narrow "Lightning" rib with front and center beads. Tight on face / no loose ribs / no cracks to wood. Tested out on the International Trap Range with flawless functioning. Weight of the gun is 7 LBS 12 3/4 OZ. LOP is 14 3/8". Drop at comb - 1 3/8". Drop at heel - 1 9/16". C&R accepted.
