Description:
Very clean model 1884 45-70 manufactured in 1889. Clear cartouches on stock but some handling dings from the past 133 years, and one scratch on the well-blued barrel. Has a crisp, tight action and a bright strongly-rifled bore. The firing pin makes a solid impact on a snap cap. Included will be a Kolpin padded case in good condition, bayonet with scabbard, custom sling by Shiloh Rifle Mfg. and cartridge bandolier & recoil pad by Brass Stacker. I am not a gunsmith or a firearms dealer, but this antique black-powder rifle seems a good choice for someone who'd like to do some actual shooting, as I had intended.
