Chambered in 6mm Rem, this heavy weight barrel is a real shooter.
This barrel started off life on a Remington 700, was taken off to be rechambered and threaded to fit in a military Mauser 98 action. It was used for 100 yard benchrest competition by my friend before he sold it to me. This barrel can shoot!
I had the barrel removed by the same gunsmith and replaced with something else for my own purposes, leaving this barrel orphaned and looking for a new home.
Chamber and bore are bright and shiny.
Rifle grooves are sharp, clean, and unpitted.
Crown is perfect with 11-degree recess.
