GORGEOUS CUSTOM STEVENS .22LR FAVORITE IN DELUXE FANCY WALNUT CASE. This is a truly spectacular offering that would cost a fortune to duplicate! This Stevens Favorite has been professionally re-stocked in very fancy walnut with AAA rubbed finish. The 24" round barrel is nicely blued and retains all the sharp Stevens markings and has been relined with a perfect bore. The receiver has not been refinished and retains light "antique" case colors. It is further fitted with a tang sight mated with a Lyman "Jack" sight (half moon with ivory bead) front sight. The butt stock is also fitted with the corrrect Stevens embossed hard rubber butt plate. Whoever made the case did an amazing job with all corners dovetailed and fitting perfectly. It is cut out and fitted for this rifle with no oversize compartments or "play." Even the portion that holds the butt stock/receiver has extra leather to protect the green felt lining from wear by the sharp edges of the hammer etc. There is a compartment inletted specifically for a classic 50 round cardboard ammo box (included), and a covered compartment that holds a matching fancy handled large bit screwdriver to fit the takedown screw along with a wiping cloth. Complete with brass hinges and hasps and a leather carry handle. In all, a magnificent outfit!
