ORIGINAL APACHE WARS (1881-1886) COLT U.S. 1873 SAA CAVALRY .45 COLT CAL. SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER YEAR OF MANUFACTURE 1882. Six shot with 7 ½” barrel. Serial number in the 84,xxx range and all matching except cylinder which is an original of the period replacement with matching finish. Original “COLT 45” marked barrel also an Ordnance replacement probably during the Spanish-American War. All original very good to fine with all the original patina and blue evenly mixed. Excellent grips with all the finish and two excellent visible Ordnance Inspector’s cartouches-one on each grip flat. Perfect working order and very good bore and chambers.
