CLAUBERG NON-REGULATION U.S. CAVALRY OFFICER’S SWORD CA. 1862-63. 39” overall with 32” profusely etched and engraved blade with martial motifs and fine large “U.S.” with “STAR” bordering as well as a fine Federal “E PLURIBUS UNUM/EAGLE” motif on the obverse. Steel hilt with “EAGLE/U.S.”. All original excellent plus with steel scabbard in fine shape. Original shark skin grip wrap. Extra nice high grade Civil War Union Cavalry Officer’s Sword.
