Description:
Gun has a 30 inch octagon barrel marked CALIBRE 40 on top flat and MID RANGE 70 right flat. It has been determined to have been re-chambered from the original 40-70 Sharps (Necked) to 40-90 Sharps (Necked) with an excellent bore. Wood is in fine condition with a few light dings in the stock and a shotgun style buttplate. Barrel has about 90% dull blue. Receiver retains about 20% of the case coloring. Single trigger. Nice Sharps Sporting Rifle.
