SOLD. Beautiful Savage 1899 lever action in .38-55 caliber. Barrel address Savage Arms Company, Utica, New York. Flip up tang mounted peep sight, flip up barrel mount rear sight and front blade sight. Tight lock up. Includes Montana leather sling and stitched brown leather lever cover. Barrel 24" (NOTE: manufacture lists 26" barrel - this firearm may have been shortened but if so it was professionally done). Black steel smooth butt plate.
Condition: metal is 99% nearly flawless. Wood 98% with minor, very small dent in buttstock, four hairline scratch dents on upper left cheek panel, four very small dents on forestock. See Photos.
