Description:
This excellent condition Sharps New Model 1863 breach loading carbine replica is made by I.A.B. in Italy in 1996. It is .54 caliber with a 22 inch barrel with a bright excellent bore. The barrel, barrel band, breechblock of this replica retains about 98+% original blue with a few light handling marks. The balance of metal surfaces retain a simular amount of original vibrant case colors finish with a few light handling marks on the lever. The attractive smooth walnut buttstock and forend rate near excellent with tiny and unabtrusive chip at the toe, and some scattered light handling marks. The action of this Sharps is strong and crisp.
