An Early U.S. Civil War Military Issued Percussion Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver In Excellent Untouched Condition. Serial # 68,946, All matching numbers including the wedge. Made in 1862, all original & complete. The revolver has excellent metal, markings, and edges. It has a full and very crisp cylinder scene. It is fully U.S. sub inspected. The barrel on the gun retains most of its original factory blue with some small areas thinning into a plum color. The cylinder retains nearly all of its original blue.. The frame, recoil shoulder area, loading lever & hammer retain nearly all of their bright factory case colors on them. The backstrap retains a mix of original blue and plum patina. The brass trigger guard is fine throughout. All screws are excellent with their original color on them. The original factory grips are fine plus throughout and have a nice grain to them. They have clear U.S. Inspectors Cartouches on both sides. The bore is excellent and the action is tight as new. This Is A Very High Condition All Original Example Of An Early U.S. Civil War Military Issued Percussion Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver. This Would Be A Wonderful Addition To Any Fine Civil War Or Colt Collection!
