For consideration is a very clean Sig Sauer P229 semi auto pistol in .40 S&W caliber. The Sig Sauer series of pistols have an outstanding reputation for dependability and accuracy. Sig pistols have been used by many law enforcement agencies and militaries around the world....the US Military currently uses Sig pistols. This particular example was made in W Germany before production began in the US. The W German made Sig pistols are highly coveted and sought after by shooters and collectors. This example is in very good mechanical and physical condition. This pistol has a some handling marks but nothing serious. In photo 3 some scuff marks are visible on the left rear of the slide and photo 2 shows a scuff on the right front of the slide. Everything works like it did when the pistol left the factory in W Germany. The barrel has a good bore with strong rifling. This fine Sig P229 would make a great carry gun where permitted by state and local laws. One magazine, box and outer cardboard sleeve come with the pistol.
