SOLD!! Rare Savage Model 1899 Lever action Takedown rifle. Barrel address Savage Arms Co., Utica, New York USA. Manufacture 1913. Rifle dates to second year after Savage released this model in 22 H.P. High power caliber. Cocking pin on top of tang. 20" barrel. Adjustable rear elevator ramp sight and front blade sight. Steel ribbed buttplate with faded Savage Quality stamp. H lever boss code stamp. Condition is 90% with metal blue faded but in excellent condition. Scratches in left side of barrel below rear sight and in the Savage High Pressure stamp. Use wear marks on top of bolt. Action and lock up are tight. Wood in very good condition with minor scuffs, none through finish, dings at front left of stock at receiver and left front of forestock. See Photos.
