Description:
A nice Remington New Model Army 1858 in .44 Cal. The revolver has matching number under the grips as well as under the barrel. It has proof marks .....L and W in multiple placer. Best I can tell is an 1864 production with close serial numbers from Springfield Armory records going to Missouri Company I Volunteers. The action is super tight, alomst to tight and the hand spring should be adjusted. I believe the action will improve. Currently it hits and misses cocking position but is still a good piece
