***SOLD*** Nice Winchester '66 Saddle Ring Carbine in 44 rimfire caliber. S/N 131085 was made in 1876.
Very good condition overall with consistent finishes. There are some scattered mars on the buttstock, but no cracks. The wood has been wiped with a darker unifying finish over the years but has never been sanded and is otherwise untouched. Original sights include a folding rear with 100, 300, and 500 yd. increments.
The receiver has taken on a fairly even bronze patina. There are some very faintly scribed initials in the left sideplate which appear to be the letters C A S in fancy upper case scroll.
The brass trapdoor buttplate still houses the original cleaning rod sections. The bore is generally very good, reflective with strong rifling and some light patchy rough spots half way.
Overall, a very respectable '66 SRC.
