Description:
This Springfield Armory Model U.S. 1898 is a right hand bolt action rifle in .30-40 Krag. It has a 30 inch barrel. A blade front sight and a tangent middle sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood straight grip with a trapdoor storage compartment in the butt plate. The forearm is a smooth grip hardwood with a barrel band and finger grooves. Serial Number 278606 (1900). .30-40 Krag
