BALLARD RIFLE AND CARTRIDGE, CODY, WYOMING MADE No. 1 3/4 "FAR WEST" SPORTING RIFLE, .40-65 CALIBER WITH EXTRAS. Superb quality unfortunately no longer made, this one features double set triggers, 30" round barrel, beautifully color cased receiver with ring lever, sporting tang sight with Rocky Mountain blade front sight and no rear barrel dovetail. Extra fancy rich walnut stock with cheek piece and matching forend- stock measures 14" length of pull from the center of the black Pachmayr Decelerator pad to the front trigger. Rifle weighs just under 11 1/2 lbs. and appears about new condition inside and out. Comes with standard extra cresecnt butt plate sporting stock and matching forend, Reddiong .40-65 loading dies, 200 415 gr. P. Jones .408" Creedmoor bullets, 50 400 gr. Snover bullets, 115 cases perfectly formed from W-W .45-70 brass, blow tube and a bag of .060" Walters vegetable fiber wads. All for $3750.
