Description:
Early Browning BAR in 30-06. Only Markings on the barrel are Left Side - "Browning Arms Company" "Made in Belgium" + Proof mark. Right side "Caliber 30,06 only" "Patent Pending" and the serial number on the receiver.
Condition - This rifle is in good condition for the age. The bluing has standard wear for the age with two exceptions. the upper left side of the receiver and the top rear has rubbing marks from something pushing up against it. The stock has no cracks but has spots were the finish has worn through to the wood. From handling over the years. THe rear sight is missing and the front sight blade has been replaced with a tru glow style bead. It has weaver bases to accept a scope.
Great gun for hunting. not a safe queen.
