Exceptional color case hardening and walnut grips.
5 1½" round barrel, creeping loading lever, six shot cylinder engraved with Butterfield Stagecoach holdup scene, spare cylinder with engraved portrait Col. David A. Butterfield as well as two Butterfield Overland Despatch freight wagons being pulled by a team of oxen - Colt Blue barrel, wedge, cylinders, backstrap, trigger and screws - case hardened frame, loading lever and hammer - brass trigger guard - one piece oil finished walnut grip. Includes French fit book style case without accessories. ("Despatch" is the correct spelling used by this company).
