The brass frame is nickel plated and the barrel is blued. The walnut grips exhibit slight wear on the highest edges. The barrel has a good bore with good rifling. The front sight is a simple brass blade type. There is some finish wear and loss to both the frame and the barrel. This would have been considered concealed carry in the late 1800s into the early 1900s.
