Circa 1870 FINE ENGRAVED FRENCH Antique .380 Caliber DOUBLE ACTION Revolver
Gorgeous Double/Single Action Revolver
Here we present an antique French Double Action Revolver in .380. This revolver features tasteful engraving with a polished blue finish and wonderfully sculpted gutta percha grips. The top of each grip features a dragon-like serpent while the bottom features a wizened face. This revolver functions in both double and single action. It has an octagonal barrel with the initials “C.R.” on the bottom as well as on the back of the cylinder. The bottom of the grip frame bears a lanyard ring. This is a very classy personal defense weapon from late-19th Century Europe.
The overall condition is very fine. Original glossy blue finish. The action is excellent in both double and single action. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. Grips are fine.
