Here we have a Colt Defender Lightweight compact 1911 pistol in .45 ACP. The 1911 is a John Browning design that has stood the test of time as a reliable and accurate platform. The Colt Defender offers power and performance every time. This is an excellent choice for concealed carry. With Novak sights and a Colt Upswept Beavertail Grip Safety, this pistol will provide an exceptional grip and quick target acquisition. The Colt Defender is an accurate and reliable workhorse able to withstand the rigors of everyday carry and numerous trips to the range. Both the trigger and hammer are skeletonized. The Hogue wraparound grips provide a very positive connection between shooter and pistol. The pistol is outstanding mechanically and exhibits some handling and use marks but nothing serious. The 3" barrel has a very good bore and strong rifling. Sights are fixed 3 dot front and rear. The frame looks like it is bead blasted which gives it a matte finish. Box, papers and 2 magazines come with the pistol.
