These are the 3rd Model Performance Center edition of the early 2000's This is a highly unusual set of Schofield Revolvers, one 5" and the other 7", with 03 of 25 engraved on the grip straps plated in gold and hand engraved. There is very little information available about these guns except that the 5" comes with a Heritage series box which indicated a possible Lew Horton Wells Fargo special edition through the S&W performance shop. The 7" comes in a standard blue plastic case. There is no indication if the gold plate or hand engraving was done at the factory or aftermarket, however both are highly professional and intricate works of art. Please email or call if interested.
