Description:
For your consideration is a Remington Rolling Block chambered in 7x57 Mauser. This rifle features a 30" barrel with an about very good bore showing light oxidation and light pitting in throughout the slightly softened rifling. The metal surfaces are toning to a dull gray patina with scattered spots of light oxidation and some spots of softened pinprick and light pitting. The walnut buttstock and Model 1910 type forend with characteristic overhanging handguard rate very good plus as lightly cleaned with a coat of added finish, a repaired 4 1/2" crack bisecting the handguard behind the rear sight, and a thin 15 1/2" repaired crack running down the center of the underside of the forend.
